I can't think of stratification yet, maybe it'll come to my mind...
I don't know yet how to avoid grid when we are designing city, I'll think further. At least will go towards less rigid grid...

thanks for posting your first tryouts in TopMod. Concerning your thoughts on the grid and urban design: It is of course interesting to challange the concept of the grid in terms of urban design. I would suggest to observe your plaster model again thoroughly....there is a grid, but its not quadratic....and by reacting to gravity and the plaster it is also not flat anymore....
